They are not used because most of the courts are made of artificial grass and although the literal translation is "all surfaces", this sole is indicated for hard courts of cement, asphalt or Green set, since they hold better. The reason they hold better is that from a herringbone pattern to an all court pattern, in the second it will increase the total surface in contact with the ground, favoring the start and movement.
